Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The deep underlining of McCarthy is that he was a bully, just like trump, putin, the guy running Turkey, etc. Using fear of some one, some thing, or some ideal to influence and control.
No real plan to improve conditions, only the thought that getting rid of or limiting that thing, person or ideal will solve everything and make us safe.

You claim a stack of people to be bullies but don't include the proven bullies of the Clintons, Bush 1 & 2, Regan, Nixon, Obama, Biden, Zelenskeyy, Thatcher, Johnstone, Howard, Hawke, Keating, JEHoover, Pol Pot, Stoltenburg (Jens), US hegemony et al.
A terrible shameful time in this country!!!!!!! I remember my parents and other adults discussing things at the time and they were Very concerned!!!!!!!

He is? I thought Putin was indoctrinated in communism which McCarthy was obsessively determined to remove from human knowledge & practice by any malevolence that he could use - just as for many years US machinations around the world from the likes of Clinton, Obama Biden & Bush have sought to eliminate Russians, Iraqis, Afghanis, Iranians & many others.

And unlike McCarthy Putin has led Russia for many years despite the bullying from USA & NATO currently taking the form of sanctions & supply of armaments & payments to Ukraine to perpetrate its proxy war on Russia for economic gain & genocide of Russians.
