Have you considered that PTS might not be a disorder?

The immune response protects the body from many kinds of physical harm. Inflammation—sending warm blood to minor harms—is one such response.

Give some thought to the mind’s being able to protect itself, perhaps by keeping some kinds of emotional harm away from conscious thought.

I thought I had read about this 20++ years ago......newer technology confirming?
I did not see where they addressed the repetitive re-living of the trauma, perhaps the very worst part of it. AS IF basically experiencing it all again would make it better.......sometimes the brain is stupid!
