And for people with long hair, like me, either cover your hair when in the allergen area, or cover or wash and dry your hair before bed. Lots of allergens get stuck in long hair.
I have 2 air purifiers in my small home, due to smoke coming in from beach fires below me. The smoke bothers me, stuffs my nose up and gives me a headache. I have learned long ago not to attend the beach fire parties, as everything smells like smoke afterward, clothes, cooler, even my water bottle. I used to have to put my laundry hamper outside, with the smoky clothes, just so I could sleep.
I remember in 2003 when we had the big fires here in Canberra, Australia. It was just horrendous. In the middle of the day it was pitch black and the smell was awful.
