Interesting. Cinco de Mayo is celebrated more in the United States than anywhere else with the possible exception of the state of Puebla. Elsewhere in Mexico, it is recognized and casually celebrated as a moment of note for the country. It is not Mexican Independence Day.

You nailed it. Puebla celebrates the battle were the Mexican army defeted the Frenchies, therefore the USA party like there is no tomorrow !!!!!
