I heard a man say that "All that is good is of God, if it is not good it is not of God" If God is all powerful, isn't he responsible for good and evil? If one person survives a tragedy and a hundred die, people look at the one as a miracle. If God is responsible for the one survivor, isn't he also responsible for the 100 who died?

That is one of my problems with the Christian religion. It doesn't make sense yet all I've ever gotten as an answer is to have faith that God has a plan. Then I was told to pray.

If you want to discuss this with him you could ask:
Is mass genocide good? - The Flood and the conquest of Israel.
Is slavery good? The Bible never condemns it but instead condones it both Old & New Testaments.
Are disease and parasites good? God created them, or did Satan? Bible never says the Devil is a creator.
You pose the question rhetorically so I imagine you already know that.

That's when I stopped believing in a god-if there was one wouldn't he save everyone not just a few.

I've always said god got a free ride on a lot of stuff. Its like if something good happens its god, but if bad stuff happens either you messed up or its the devil.
