John Lennon said it all for me in this song simply entitled, "God" on his first solo album with the Plastic Ono Band released December 11, 1970. What I got from this song when I first heard it back then was don't believe in obsolete myths anymore; but if you need to believe in something, then believe in yourself, believe in your lover, and believe in Love!
