Can I just say how much moving sucks? Having to touch everything you own and make a decision about it. Do I keep it? Donate it? Throw it away? I don't have anything like enough boxes. My 7 year old keeps sneaking them off and mutilating them. Anything soft is going in a trash bag. Ugh.
I started packing and purging nonessentials back in November. Now it's finally actually happening and this is the worst part.

Moving is a pain in the ass. Due to circumstances beyond my control I did have a period where I moved 6 times in 10 years. You really do get minimalist but very good at the logistics. It is a skill I could have cheerfully have not learned

This is the first time in 7 years that I've moved, so it's been a while and I've acquired a lot of stuff since then.
