I've been thinking about this since last night.
I would think there's a way to take the technology from prosthetic arms and make braces for paralyzed and neurological damaged limbs that could help the limbs to move and behave like unaffected limbs. Like for people like me who's hands can't grasp properly, a brace that could read the electrical impulses from my brain and hold my hands firmly so I don't throw things or drop them. It sure would be nice
I’ve attended a presentation from this company - they make 3d printed prosthetics - but all the work they seemed to be doing at the time were with missing limbs/amputees. I wonder if they are working on something - or could ! [openbionics.com]
I might try and get in touch with them.
there is a way. the army is working with exoskeleton outer suits that allow the wearer to carry much heavier things and be a bit super human.
