Bingo! "Leave your pollotics at the door"... "You don't have to agree with everyone else, but have the discussion (civily that is). Don't put 'a spin' on different points, don't cherry pick stats, don't present things (stats) out of context, etc. Great discussion.

As someone who currently is (and has, earned certificates) taking online courses in the areas of critical thinking/the growth mindset/and psychology, I agree that a more open-minded approach to such topics is desperately needed. Our political and social talking points nowadays are far too one-sided, which is only serving to further the cultural divide all the more.
