It feels that way sometimes!

Its a phase like anything else, its like puberty in reverse, where hormones are in overdrive and your mind is racing ahead at mach 2, but in your 40's your hormones are slammed into reverse and your mind can't keep up with how fast time is passing at mach 2 and panic sets in, because your thinking wait there is so much I want to do, where the fuck did all the time go? And what the hell was I wasting it on?

@Hitchens exactly! All the mortality we denied in our teens comes back to bite us. Time moves faster and is all the more fleeting. Children who took so much energy are suddenly gone. So much more to do!
