Glycerin/glycerol refers to a three-carbon sugar. Glycerin can be used to emulsify non-polar molecules like THC and enable them to be present in otherwise water-based drinks. However, THC doesn't readily dissolve in glycerin unless it has previously been dissolved into an intermediate, i.e. ethanol.

I’ve never drank one and my kids never did, so far as I know, either. It is appalling what is allowed in food.
