You may recall that Moore famously predicted Trump's win in 2016. Almost everyone laughed him off, even though he'd earned at least a listen given his years of activism. So this prediction isn't nothing. But he takes it much further, and we need to pay attention. Moore says a Harris victory needs to be sweeping for our nation to be able to save itself from Trump's predatory ways. Vote. Get your family members to vote. Get your friends to vote. Vote like your life and liberty depend on it, because they may.

Yes, he did and his understanding of the undercurrents of American society is far better than most mainstream babblers in America, but the unpredictables in this election are huge, the underground dark efforts both to subvert a Harris victory and prevent claiming a victory, are like nothing ever seen in America. On top of this the polls are questionable, the truthfulness of Americans in polls likewise, and due to the antiquated US system, it all seems to come down to a bunch of rednecks in a few Hillbilly states. So, I'm surprised at Moore's optimism; I hope he's right; yes, a sweeping victory is needed, but I don't think it will be, and in any case a Harris victory will not stop the forces of authoritarianism from seeking control in America, and anyone who thinks the Republican party is going to revert back to the party of Ronald Reagan ( which was a myth anyway) is fooling themselves.

The American binary political party system has always been a puppet show, in many ways. But now one puppet - the GOP - has decided they're no longer going to play the game with all that pretense, and one more election loss will not stop them, merely delay them.

I still remember in the 2012 election that Rummy was predicted to win. Both my late partner/wife and I were depressed but the prediction turned out to not be true. Now I look back on those times and see how that time compared with today. Even Rummy was against tRump.
In a way I'm glad she is not alive today not only because of this countries politics but the dark road her home country (Iran) has gone). Her former husband was able to immigrate to the US on a student visa. Of course he was a pathetic, narcissistic, paternalistic Iranian male but she said at least he got the family a=out of Iran because otherwise she would be in jail or dead because of her mouth. She was extremely outspoken (an atheist from early childhood).

I agree totally. The sane among us know the dangers and know that, despite what the orange anus says, they are lies and when and if he comes to power everybody will experience how these lies will affect this country. I have and will continue to give.
What I don't understand is that close to us is another, very large island, Whidbey Island. At the north end of that Island is a large town called Oak Harbor. Oak Harbor is a huge Naval Air station and it seems most of the military there support tRump. Maybe he's right about the military being losers and suckers.
This station has created a lot of turmoil in this area with their Growler touch and go practices and overflights. The noise is deafening and the navy has been sued several times and lost every time (they lie when submitting an environmental impact statement. One judge said they were like a drunk using a lightpole more for support than enlightenment.

I just received a donation request from Florida saying state police are going around to homes of people who signed on the bring abortion onto the ballot as a means of intimidating voters. I fear we may be past the time where even overwhelming Harris voter turn out will prevent Election Day chaos. But I will be at my polling station and no one will stop me.

So is this just intimidation or will they be able to see the votes and who voted for who?

@pedigojr According to the script, they are targeting homes that signed on to the petition. The Republicans are so afraid the voters will reject their draconian abortion laws they put in place like they did in Ohio.

@pedigojr They can only intimidate to try and keep people away from the polls… if the system is not being tampered. Actual voting is supposed to be secure, but with the Republicans doing anything to win the ejection, or at least put results in question, this year you never know.

@Barnie2years Right now there is a report that, supposedly, says many tRump supporters still believe the election was stolen!. This is insane and with so muck happening, like you showed, that actually seeks to steal any votes for anyone other than the 'chosen' ones one would think people would wake up. It seems it's not just about an election but the effect that pure stupidity will have on our system.

@pedigojr Trump cult voters would vote for him if they had to prop him up at his rallies with a stick up his ass! The fact that Musk is supporting him alone should scare people off. I wouldn’t buy a life preserver from either one of them if I was on a sinking ship! I’d take my chances on swimming.😁

@Barnie2years Rather a shark than a tRump (the sharks probably wouldn't eat him either - too much unhealthy fat).
Something I just learned about Tesla cars. It was reported to not buy this brand as any parts are specialty parts only coming from the Tesla factory hence a lot more expensive. Also, only a Tesla mechanic can work on the car due to it's 'special' technology. Owning this brand will mean a very expensive and time consuming repair which all cars need. For me the car is just plain ugly.

I also predicted Trump’s win in 2016 and all y’all laughed at me.

I did, too. My family and friends didn't believe me, either. I've lived for years with a Cassandra complex. I started telling my kids over 20 years ago that the republicans were following the Nazi playbook. At that time, however, it was Dick Cheney. If he's scared now, you know there's a BIG problem.

@Organist1 Yeah, when the OLD scumbags are worried, it’s REALLY dangerous.
