The proposition of atheism is not advanced by disingenuous epigrams. The evidence for god is poor and not understood, but not non-existent. Remaining arguments for a god include: 1. Existence itself and the Big Bang. 2. Seeming patterns of order in physical laws and types of matter. 3. Fine tuning of physical constants that enable the presence of life. Some explanations for these have been suggested, but no one knows for certain if these were set by other parameters, or are pareidolia, Anthropic, or something else. Maybe those who have been around a lot longer will tell us.

It's a good idea to be subtle when ripping out someone's emotional pacifier. The kind of subtle I just used will close the door to open and unbiased conversation. No one knows there is or isn't a supreme being who created everything but simple logic says it is unlikely.
