Important point. If someone claims there's a god. The burden of proof is on them.
Religion is a grift started by con men to make money, keep people under control, and women subjugated to men.
Ideal women
Wow! Didnt think my little post would spark so much spirited debate and comments. Thanks to everyone.
Who had god on their side in this incident?
And here is a direct response to American arrogant diplomatic failure & racism:
A video showing the enticement, subsequent deaths & wounding of invading Israeli IDF squad in Rafah a few days ago but unlike Israeli videos showing gory bodies & mutilations this simply shows all going black as the building that the invaders are in explodes & collapses on them -
Strategic Message: The Resistance Remains Embedded and Unbroken
This ambush is not just a tactical success — it is a message to the world: Rafah is not a safe zone for the occupier. Even under siege, Gaza’s resistance remains agile, fortified, and deeply rooted in its terrain — above and below ground.
As the occupation ramps up its brutality in Rafah, targeting displaced families and civilian shelters, the Al-Qassam Brigades demonstrate that they are neither outgunned nor outmaneuvered. In fact, their ability to draw occupation troops into ambushes reflects an advanced level of strategic discipline and battlefield intelligence.
Final Thought: The Earth Will Not Be Quiet Under Their Boots
As the world watches Rafah under fire and Western leaders remain complicit, the resistance in Gaza continues to write history in the language of courage. This is not a battle between two armies — it is a confrontation between colonial machinery and indigenous faith, between iron injustice and a people whose hearts burn with the fire of truth.
Al-Qassam’s message is simple:
We may be outnumbered, but we are not outwilled.
This land recognises its sons — and buries its invaders.
Yes, but they will quote the Bible as fact and say that is the "proof"! They also do not understand the logical fallacy of personal experience/anecdotal evidence. I have heard many say that they prayed for something and, by golly, the prayer was answered! Try to tell them that doesn't mean a god answered the prayer. One of my cousins is such a person.
We have (for want of a better word) a belief system based on logic. Religious people do not. One of the logical maxims we use is Occam's razor. ie. If you hear hoofs outside, think horses over zebras. Now that does not mean zebras are impossible, just highly unlikely, so a higher degree of proof would be required. God botherers hear unicorns.
I think it's more insidious than that, it's indoctrination. They defend their doctrine, therefore their group, dismissing logic and reason in favour of the doctrine. Belief is imparted as fact to the immature mind who cannot tell the difference. Or the drug affected mind in the case of bornagains.
Religions play on the weak minded who go along with it so as to be a functional part of whatever belief group.
Not in EagleRiver, AK It means moose!!
You don’t need prove, only faith my brother!!!?!! Hallelujah!!!!
Faith is the excuse people give when they don't have evidence.
@nowhereman55 Heathen!!
@Aaron70 Lol!
@Aaron70 Come on Aaron You've got to do better than juvenile name calling
@nowhereman55 sorry, that’s all I got….
Fools Arguing Inane Theocratic Horse shit.
That presumes that the believer has enough personal honor to discuss the issue rationally. Many believers do not have such honor.
@racocn8 Their rebuttal is you just have to have faith.....
I often think that the religious, especially the religious apologists, suffer from a form of neurodivergence, basically an inability to understand, value or appreciate honesty. Given that, it would explain much.
Good point!
@Fernapple
What I have observed is a generational conditioning from a patriarchal society.
The father is the family leader. There is usually a leader in friend groups. You have teachers, employers and governing bodies. Is it a far stretch that an ultimate leader would be acceptable to the devout?
In my opinion, it will take many generations to undo the damage, and as we can see, there is a fierce resistance to that change.
@michelle666gar and I laugh and laugh
@silverotter11 Same!!!! They just look at me like I'm a crazy Satanist!
