I've been thinking about how to respond to my conservative and Trump supporting friends in lieu of the recent North Korea developments. Of course they are high fiving and proclaiming Trump the greatest president ever. I'm trying to look at this from unbiased point of view, which is not easy since I basically can't stand Donald Trump, but I'm trying. This is the way I see it. I think Trump should get basically the same credit that Reagan got for ending the cold war. Of course conservatives will boast that Reagan's tough stance did the trick but the reality there was the communist system in the Soviet Union had been failing for years. Reagan took advantage of an opportunity to change the relationship with the S.U. because they needed to change it too, because they were basically at the end of the line with the old system. I think we are seeing a very similar scenario play out with NK. This latest spasm of nuke tests and missile launches from KJU was just for show, but he knew it was as far as he could push this nuke thing. I also think we are seeing that KJU is not quite as crazy as he was made out to be. Granted they have a pretty fucked up system but that was the system he inherited. NK was at the end of the line and it was time for a change. And my observation was the Olympics may have really accelerated this. So I wish that our president makes the most of this opportunity presented him.
The One With The Crazy Haircut Is Leading Trump By The Nose.He had only agreed to "suspended" missile launches. There is NO agreement on Nuclear Disarming, no way is he going to give up his Nukes. The move towards "Peace" with the south is a rouse to ease sanctions on the north. If anyone believes otherwise they ate in for a shock.
On the other hand Trump being a self absorbed narcissist who's really only concerned with his place in history my bend quite a bit to get a win!!
