I posted several links to articles about Nalaxone (known as Narcan) and the opioid crisis. Wednesday I'm going to a workshop sponsored by YAP (Young American Patriots, a local progressive organization and younger folk, though I'm an associate member) and various health organizations in the area. There will be a discussion of how our region is being affected. We'll be taught how to use Narcan ,and Narcan will distributed to all participants to the website, free of charge. I'm going to ask if District 3, who is the mass transit provider for our region, has been contacted re: providing training for their drivers. This would seem to be a logical thing to do. (I'm betting the answer is: No, the drivers have NOT been giving training, and I expect that the reason might be they anticipate heavy pushback from drivers against learning how to do this.)
