There is a low-key drama in it, both human figures are clearly nude, perhaps having just had sex, or just about to. The man seems to have something on his mind, while the woman seems to be waiting for him to come back to bed.
Of course, the sky is bright, but the city lights are on, so he may just be watching a sunset.
In any case, there is a stillness, a quietness about it, that greatly appeals to me.
