I think I saw my spirit animal on the way home this morning. It was just a quivering lump of bloody flesh and fur on the median in the road but, I'm pretty sure it was him.
My ex used to tell the opposite side of this tale. ... Her cousin was newly married and with new husband driving through the Armidale region of NSW. Their car was run over by a stampeding herd of brumbies (wild horses), one horse jumping through the windscreen and killing her.
Holy shit!
@Duke Nothing holy about it. The brumbies are feral as in a man introduced animal that has gone wild. There are far more deaths occurring from people swerving to avoid animals like wombats, kangaroos, emus, cows, birds. The police now advocate that people not move the steering wheel one centimetre from original course - just break. The law was only recently changed to make the farmer responsible for his escaped livestock if it is run into - it used to be that the motorist had to compensate the farmer for killing his stock.
Mmm was walking home one day and saw a flat cat. I thought I'd try and get it's collar to contact the owners, but it was so flat and the traffic busy I had to abort the mission
Sometimes if there are two wires near each other and they touch both at once they get fried, my friend was on the phone to me when he saw it happen to a possum whose tail touched the wire above
I think you are way too kind there talking like that about you spirit animal.
Nasty
A few days ago, I saw a cat that had just gotten run over moments before. Poor guy
