In Iraq, I worked as a journalist and as a human rights activist, through my career which was ended after I received a death threat that eventually drove me out of the country, I managed to document many violations, in which one of them is very ironic but very sad too, a girl who is close to 20 years old, was raped by her father, who found out that she wasn't virgin during the rape, so he got angry and decided to kill her.
The girl is safe, managed to run away, and we managed to find her a shelter, but that was about 6 years ago.
