Honesty, integrity, trust/trustworthy, kindness, patience, an encouraging manner. The ability to make the world a little brighter with a smile and a little humor or more substantively when able to be generous in other ways.
Julie will you marry me.... very well said
I agree totally. I judge not based on money or title, but rather how they treat others especially people that are suffering for the lacks, health, ,money, etc
ismeal but not ishmael?
Occasionally I meet people who seem more interested in hearing about who theyre with, than talking about themselves. I impressed by this personality.
Tact, intelligence, intransigence and compassion.
I learned most of what was truly important from my father in that material, possessions, ownership, Madison Avenue BS ... doesn’t contribute to character. I discovered character was made of honesty, integrity, compassion, my belief in myself and caring for others .... for 37 years I worked on service to the well being of others. I can look in the mirror each morning and know I’ve done may best.
I learned those values myself from my dad. Strength of character comes from within, you can't buy it.
@mistymoon77 we may be two of a kind
How unimpressed they are with how much money someone makes, the friends they have or title they carry.
Oh ... im impressed with money, titles, fame, community statuses, movie stars, dignitaries, kings and queens, whose who are in just about everything. In most cases it took determination with ambition to reach this plato. It takes leadership to maintain these positions. Its a book to study to learn from these people. These intellectuals pave the way to design and build the latest gadgetry for the masses. Its determination and drive that keeps this country safe. These same individuals create jobs that support lives in our great country. Great people have the knowledge to hire human relations to maintain and control policies. These same great people know and see through childish behaviour and hire lawyers to protect them and those and our. Grant you that generosity and kindness are a virtue. We all have that inside us and show this as needed and not because someone wants to see it. I believe being humble is a way of showing love and empathy. I like to know people. I like to notice thier accomplishments. It gives me the inventive to better myself and not feel sorry for myself. Education is a must in this world and in our society. if a person feels the need to understand others then it is their right and privilege to educate themselves to be an adult to see through tbe bullshit of trailer park gossip and poor me and why me and a 5th grade education.
You're joking right? Movie stars are intellectuals? And it's a very long time since our royal family & the house of lords did anything noteworthy to be where they are. And that was probably just killing the opposition
@GoldenDoll. I learn something from everyone that says something to me. Its amazing what ive just learned from you. There are kings and queens all over this world. BTW... i was born in lancashire. I have 2 citizenship. I like the UK.
Intelligence and kindness in equal parts. It's rare to witness true intelligence that doesn't come with arrogance or condescension.
Well said sir
@Millerski25 thank you ☺
A great smile, kindness, and intelligence.
What more could anyone ask for
I have a friend who always talked about money and real estate. He was always trying to impress others with his knowledge about finances. One day I told him that his financial knowledge did not impress me. However, "the fact that you are a single parent and raised your son without any help from his mother is impressive." And he lived in a rough neighborhood.
That last comment was just silly. My serious answer would be that I am impressed by the kind and/or generous things someone has done for someone else but never broadcast that act. When I was a Christian, I would say this was due to being so focused on Christ and what his purpose was for us versus what the world would say. The principal remains true...do nice things for other people because it is the right thing to do. Besides, it makes most people feel fulfillment when they do them. Just a thought....
