Well, I ain't asking you out for a date, that is darn tootin.
My observation is this - humans mess up the environment. Because we don't think about it. That third frappacino at Starbucks is going to end in a landfill somewhere. That's what we do. And I worked on waste management issues for a decade and I have seen the result.
Mother Earth must hate us is my summation. The sooner we get that Mars colony going, the better.
Humans and especially Americans are consumers and very wasteful when it comes to anything. Our poor are the richest fattest in the world. If an EMO were to strike the US around 2/3rds or more of the population wouldn't know how to survive off the land that they stand on. People have a basic instinct to survive but the education isn't there not will it ever be taught by anyone on an upon echelon level. Those who are on welfare with footsteps can go to 7eleven, buy a burrito, have their daily calorie intake with just that and add a side on top of it and chips, repeat 3 times daily and gain 10 pounds a month. Why need mother earth? Why need other people to survive? It's sad, humanity needs to awaken, and it's happening, slowly but surely those that see and read signs will survive.
@Expat74 Copy that. And Australians are really no different, sadly.
Interesting to hear from you, I'll keep an eye out for your radical philosophy on the site
I haven't seen you for a bit girlwithsmiles! Good to see you.
@Palindromeman thanks
Hi, Expat.
You'll earn points and help others get to know you better if you write your profile and answer the profile questions, since that's the first place many people look when they see a new member.
Then you make comments and write posts to earn more points, and when you reach level two, you can private message people.
There is a link to FAQ and a website tutorial on the home page.
I never bother looking at a member's profile - I just want to know what they think. But, I am receiving sage advice from a Level 8 (I'm not worthy!) so I give it the full respect that is due.
