I am so fortunate to have such a beautiful place to live...the North Fork of the San Gabriel River is less than 200 ft from my back deck! A lot of times (when it's really dry), it almost completely dries up...but thanks to the recent rain l can hear it's joyful bubbling when l open the back door!? The first pic is from up on the bank...the rest are after l wandered out onto the riverbed...in the pics looking upstream, my property is to the left...awe inspiring!!?

No ducks down here!? l've seen some egrets/herons occasionally, but no ducks!?
