I just saw a group of ladies going down my street partying. They were all wearing red fascinators. I stopped them to inquire if perhaps they were members of "The Red Hat Society," as they were all in that age group. Silly me! No, they were all celebrating the Royal Wedding!

I loved the variety of creative, and often homemade fascinators worn by both wedding guests and women in the crowd at the royal wedding event.
The fascinators were pretty, but didn't offer much protection from the sun.
