Working on becoming self-sufficient as far as energy, food and water go. Have a ways to go though.

I try to pick up plastic when I see it lying around, and reuse plastic bags, utensils and to go cups for as long as possible. I work in recycling, remanufacturing laser printer cartridges and generally just try to fix any appliance/piece of electronics as many times as possible, only replacing it when I have no other choice. I was using an iPhone 5s until last year when someone gave me a 6s with a broken screen and I fixed it. I still use the 5 as my guitar tuner/camera now. I enjoy making random things repurposed from old broken useless items. I should really learn to weld and buy a junkyard.

I try to lead by example. If people at work see me, an old cripple, emptying recycle bins, perhaps they will realize how easy it is to make little changes.

There is not much anyone can do as long as the deniers are in power and control. VOTE.
