Not sure how I got here but I hope to meet someone who also likes garlic bread
Gracious! Who DOESN'T love garlic bread?
Back when I could eat such food with impunity, I used to bake all kinds of breads from scratch, from pita bread to French baguettes to ethnic European braided breads. I even made doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, etc.
I finally noticed I didn't feel well anymore, and was getting increasingly congested, so stopped eating bread decades ago. I just started cautiously eating dry whole wheat toast recently, and no problems so far..
I miss garlic bread...smelling the dough rising & baking. The delicious scent of garlic & olive oil grilling...the soft, translucent, golden cloves slipping from their skins, spreading across steaming, moist, white fluffiness framed in a crispy, brown crust...a touch of yellow butter & a bit of sal de mar...miss it so much.
Don't set your sights too high. Maybe finding someone who also likes bread, and also has no idea how they got here, will be more realistic.
