It would be impossible for a main stream political party to use science to shape its manifesto.

It would be seen as:

Non religious
Non feminist
Non PC
Racist

It would get very few votes due to the undeducated masses being swayed by polarising headline grabbing dumbed down media.

Neil is right. We should base our views on science. Since one political party is rejecting science I guess that makes the other party look a lot better.
