"Lamentably, it is an historical fact that privileged groups seldom give up their privileges voluntarily. Individuals may see the moral light and voluntarily give up their unjust posture; but, as Reinhold Niebuhr has reminded us, groups tend to be more immoral than individuals." MLK
Privileged groups are a figment of our imagination, unless you mean ones who have used violence, intimidation, lies and cheating to steal things from others. Frigate birds are a good example of this lifestyle. IMO in a world where there is sufficient food to feed the hungry, it is unethical for hungry people to exist, and in a rich world it is unethical for there to be poor. When the divide between rich and poor causes extreme hardship among the poor, they invariably revolt. The French revolution is an example, and all the aristocracy were beheaded. The issue is not about jealousy, it is about survival.
Exactly. The ruling class would rather have WW3 than relinquish their power and wealth, even if they die too.
Why should we, not our fault to have been born into a privileged group.We work hard to keep it, else we lose it ! You are just jealous.
Just be serious....

Why ?
@VAL3941 Is this you being provocatively sardonic, perhaps?
@bolshevik41
Yes !
@VAL3941 Like it!
@bolshevik41
Thank you !
Privileged groups seldom recognize that privilege, and if they do, they have an array of arguments to explain why they deserve it.
