Seriously? Please explain. Because that's never been an issue with me. That statement makes absolutely no sense.

I am really overwhelmed to get that many response and I really appreciate and respect all opinions. I am totally new here and I had no idea this group would be that much alive. Thank you all that makes me feel alive too. I have been US just for one year but it's been really really difficult for in all possible ways.

All those replies and even this one from you, and I still don't see where you explained your statement.

@BlueWave I appreciate your curiosity towards my answer... actually it demands a big reply.. unfortunately I am pretty weak it English and it's time consuming as well and obviously between written explanation and in person conversation has far difference in terms it's appeal and story telling capability... who knows...may be we will talk someday regarding this issue in person...

I am not a racist, right now I would date any female who could stand to be around me.

Racism is the belief that one race is inherently superior to another. It has nothing to do with personal taste. If certain physical features don’t turn me on, and I’m perceived as and treated as a racist for not dating a more diverse pool of women, then whose life am I living here? I’m not a puppet, mate.

Relationships are difficult enough. I prefer to stick with my own race/ ethnicity . While it may work out for many people, it's just not my preference.

2

I suppose being born is directly or indirectly related to racism too.
I get your point even though you don't have one. ?

Please do.

I am picky in partners in more ways than race.

He would have to be the same race, citizenship, education, similar social status, like doing similar things, have traveled, be fit, and be within two years of my age.

I wouldn't date him if he: played golf, loved to eat junk food and red meat, liked to fish and hunt, follows NASCAR, is an American football fanatic, a gamer, addicted to his smart phone/or porn, seldom reads.

Some folks just go around with a chip on their shoulder about race. People, just about all people, are more comfortable around the 'familiar'. That includes but is not limited to race. Venturing into the unknown is adventurous and exciting to many; especially in youth.

One cannot separate perfectly human propensities to remain where things and people are familiar. It is called 'clanishness' and has NOTHING to do with racism. Some are more clannish than others. For those who are not, cross-culturalism benefits and we all ultimately benefit.

It isn't mean, hateful or racist to be comfortable among one's 'own kind'. Though often disclosing a lack of curiosity or adventurousness, it is definitely NOT racism. Get over it.

That's very true.

How does this happen? This choosing malarky? I just was sorta single then sorta not. I was married to a guy for 22 years who was a different nationality and a different ethnicity (although still caucasian). I thought being with someone was more about chemistry and biology and less about cynical thought. If that was the case, I'd have at least chosen a rich one...I entirely do not care about their ethnicity.

And that's fine ,but I don't think it's racist if someone does.

I love to get involved with a coloured lady, they seem to be very sexually liberated ?

Don't do that

@Bierbasstard it's also the reason why a lot of white women don't date outside their ethnicity / race.

This was not being derogatory, Living in S.A. colored women are more open about their sexuality than white women. I do not live in America.

@Bierbasstard
I do not live in America

@Kojaksmom
See below.

@VAL3941 I don't live in USA either. Your comment is both racist and sexist. Do not do that!

@Bierbasstard
Have you spoken to black ladies from " ALL " countries or African American ladies. Culture differs from country to country. My experience comes from Africa. The choice is mine to decide how I feel about certain topics. If you do not like it, that is your choice. Leave me to mine.

@Amisja
That is how you feel. I do not feel that way. Do not speak for others and don't make your problems my problems. Please !

@VAL3941 It isn't my problem.

@Amisja
Thank you !
