You know what's odd to me is that none of the other gospels write about this.
But Christians are convinced the Bible does not contradict itself.
But when I read the four Gospels I notice that only two of them have lineage listed between King David and Jesus. One has 27 names the other has like 42 names and none of the names are the same.
Out of four Witnesses that were there, they can't agree on what his last words were. They can't agree on what the sign said that was placed over his head. They can't agree on the details of his resurrection. And they can't agree on time or place of his Ascension.
I call bullshit!!!

The official explanation is that one lineage is patriarchal, the other matriarchal. But you're right, there's so much disagreement between the gospels that people have invested all sorts of effort in "harmonizing" them. The hand-waving dismissals are generally along the lines that different authors had different emphases and perspectives, interviewed different witnesses who in turn had different perceptions and perspectives. But that only goes so far, and not nearly far enough to provide the desired "harmony". Also ... if the Bible is divinely inspired and inerrant it would not exhibit such differences and no explanations would be needed.

Only Mathew and John were around, Mark was only a kid and Luke did not even know about JC until after the crucifixion.

Look...look, look..... it is all quite simple, you just have to understand that you are an ignorant heathen piece of scum, who likes to go about damaging people's testimonies with your ill informed facts and inconvenient truths and you are going to burn in hell forever for it.
Bless you my child and shut your gob while we tie you to this stake and burn you to death with God's holy, loving cleaning fire.

The best way to read the gospels is side by side account for account, the authors had very different stories to tell. Mark the first book written, the suffering man, and once we get to the last book written John he is God. The evolution of the religion is very apparent when one does this. All the stories conflict with the exception of where the author of Matthew and Luke either copied from mark or shared a common source from which they copied. Read Dr. Bart Ehrmans books.
