I am Michael from Traverse City Michigan. I got an impressive flyer in the mail today. Abdul El-Sayed is from Detroit and he is running for Governor of Michigan. The stupid idiotic Republican Party will probably point out that he's from "the middle East" and he's a minority that doesn't have the maloities kind of values, they may even ask to see his birth certificate....s a d ! What they won't acknowledge is that ABDUL EL-SAYED is Detroit's Public Health Director, he rebuilt the city's health system, stands up to corporate polluters, and checked every school building for lead in the water. A long time ago, the school board """F I X E D""" the problems of contaminated polluted drinking water at all the city's elementary schools by JUST placing a sign up at every drinking fountain that read, "Don't drink the water." Imagine all those young children coming indoors after running around throughout their recess.... thirsty, and these signs were supposed to stop them from being contaminated with lead. My mother recalls this story vividly because she was one of the elementary school teachers at that time.
