The Baptist church I drive past often has one of those signs where churches put their pithy sayings. It's in a place on the road where I can't get a picture, though. So again, I will type it here and enjoy your comments.
"Get your exercise the RIGHT way! Run from Satan and walk with God!"
I bought an xtian book yesterday called "Created Sexual and Enjoying it". Supposedly lectured by the husband and wife authors around the world.
I wonder if they advocate horizontal marathons? Looking at their photo I suspect that it is more like two hippos mating on the whip it in, wet it and wipe it agenda!
We are, and have always been, in the midst of cultural war.
Humans who believe in the supernatural are mostly less intelligent and have less education.
Those who are amazingly intelligent and still "believe" are examples of the power of indoctrination of children.
Magisterial subliminal advertising. On the surface it appears that the church powers-that-be frown upon running and favor walking. But if you look deeper into the matter you realize the genius of the sign: walking is easier than running. You gotta give it to the church’s PR department: they want to lay an easy, effortless path to their donation box, and they want you to associate not going their way with effort.
