Keep in mind that at this point its ok not to be at times.
Don't further hurt yourself trying to face down things that are currently beyond your strength. They will be in reach as you recover.
Sit in an easy chair. Look out the window. Find a bird or squirrel or dog to watch. Let yourself enjoy it. Look at the sky. Concentrate on clouds. What forms can you see in them? In a nutshell, immerse yourself in the small, seemingly insignificant things. It sometimes works for me.
