When I finally came out as a non believer it was like a load of bricks fell off my mind and body. I once studied to be a priest, and even then I knew religion was not for me. As I stated before, had doubts in the first grade and was a non believer (in the closet) by the 5th grade. However because my family were so religious I feared I would be ostrasized. Not as much drama from them as I expected.
