Care for my feral kitties, listen to music, watch Food Network, spend time with my dad, watch Star Trek, oh and study.....which I do more than anything else it seems
Spending time with my son and my two poop dogs, sleeping (I'm almost 9 months pregnant!) And spending time with my family.
lol, does the next kid have a name picked out yet?
Maria (counting crows sing about Maria in a bunch of their songs, and them being my favorite band I thought it was fitting.) Lee (my grandmother's be middle name.) She will be here the 26th! My son and I are very excited to meet her!
Cooking, woodworking, camping, hiking, caving, photography, board games, video games, playing with my dogs, sleeping... all of which I don't do often enough these days.
For the last 2 years I’ve been collecting islands - I get a joy I don’t fully understand when I nose my bow into the lee of a new island & drop anchor. The smaller the better. No airport is good. Sailed from San Francisco to Australia, stopping in 9 countries & heaps of islands, getting adopted on Raiatea (Fr. Polynesia) & Waya (Yasawas, Fiji). Doing physics demonstrations at schools. Fixing things.
Love exotic cuisines, local music, snorkeling, meeting folks on boats from everywhere, festivals, dancing EC swing, books, movies, museums, hiking, skiing.
I'm also a huge reader. I maintain a books/music blog and am active in the online readathon world. I used to be a music blogger for a couple years, and would go to 5-10 shows per week in the Fort Collins music scene, but since I moved I no longer live in a place with a safe enough night life for a woman alone, so I gave up live-music blogging. I still keep up with the bands and artists I knew though, and continue to post about their music on my blog occasionally. I have 2 or 3 cats (2 of my own plus one stray who has decided he is mine but can't live inside peacefully yet with my cats). I love houseplants and gardening, and have ~40 different houseplants stuffed in my small apartment.
Cooking, camping, kayaking, fishing, hiking, study of insects, aquatic life, reptiles, amphibians, bird feeding, cat keeping, rock and other music, contemporary art, color guard, and marching bands... to name a few.
I suppose my cats think one of my favorite hobbies is cat-keeping, too.
Right now I'm working out trying to get back in shape. I take my dog for walks in the parks. Most of my friends have kids or jobs where they work weekends so we can't hang out as much as I like. Since I'm an introvert the alone time doesn't bother me.
I like to read and listen to music. I used to go to a lot of concerts, but can not afford to do so anymore. And I used to ride, but my horse is now retired.
As silly as this might sound I am currently deep into researching the UFO phenom and the Truth Embargo established by ours and other governments around the world.
I'm not trying to put you down, but the problem with researching UFO's is that one lie leads to many. I belong to a skeptic's group and we have found not one shred of evidence of UFO's and aliens. Is there life on other planets? Why not? We just don't know. Also, humans, including the ancients, are very clever. Taking the credit away from ancient people for their accomplishments and giving it to aliens, is insulting to those people. Remember that religion destroyed great works of knowledge, sending us into the dark ages. We are still catching up and will never regain some of the knowledge of ancient people (Earthlings).
