My folks owned a company that built substation transformers and you had to test fire them up to 150% of their rated capacity, a young delivery driver came through the test area while we were testing one and electrocuted himself with the high voltage feed from the main transmission lines out behind the factory. He died of course, left a greasy smudge in the concrete where he got fried and fell to the floor. I'm guessing it was pretty painful.
That must have been awful.
@pixiedust It smelled like roast pork in the factory for a couple of days. A grim reminder and we were shutdown for a day while the Health and Safety people did their assessment. We were found not to be at fault as we had taken all the safety precautions but the young delivery driver was in a rush and bypassed everything to get into that restricted area, just to make a bit more delivering a box of stainless steel bolts.
