My ex wanted to take the kids to see the Solo film but they're not interested. I gotta say I'm not enthusiastic about it myself. Anyone else not really getting excited about it. I am a Star Wars fan but I didn't even bother seeing the last film, I was so disappointed with the force awakens!

It was worth seeing. It was fun seeing how he met Chewie and although he wasn't Harrison Ford, he was close enough. There were a couple of Easter eggs too.

I saw it last night.

It exceeded my expectations (which were rather low) and I enjoyed it immensely! If you're worried about it being like TFA don't be... it's much better.

Im not excited about someone else playing Han Solo.

that was my initial reaction, but he did a decent job. Could have studied a bit more, but it worked. I saw glimpses here and there.

I hear you... I'm taking my wife and my two girls to see Solo next Friday... I must say I have yet to see anything that could better the first 2 episodes..the third Return of the Jedi was ok.
I did think that Rogue one was good though. When you are a fan you have very high standards and expectation.. I just hope Disney don't completely fuck up the whole..series altogether.

@Josephine It was darker and more gritty than the others .. I liked that.

I might be a Star Wars fan - but if i am, I don't know it because I've never seen any of them. Hence, not feeling very excited about the new one!
