I had a good laugh just now. A while back I created a profile on a dating app called Zoosk. I discovered that you can't even send a message on there unless you pay for the service and I decided it wasn't worth what they wanted. Apparently, I forgot to delete my profile. I just got notification that said someone named "Christ-Girl" wants to meet me. Yeah... that'll happen. Not.
The disappointing aspects of atheism. All attraction completely disappears when I hear religion come up. Can't unsee behind the curtain.
I've sporadically had profiles on varioys dating sites. Never been willing to pay. Only ever had one come out of it that was really enjoyable. We were together about a month. I had one person message me simply in an effort to convert me because I'd listed atheist as one of my main descriptors. It was somewhat entertaining to take it back and forth for a little while, but ultimately just became an annoyance.
Actually, my best friend locally is someone that I met on OK Cupid. But, we're just great friends. Nothing romantic ever happened from the start.
Lol tell her you name is Jesus-Boy and see what happens.
I was going to change my profile name to Mephistopheles and see what happened.
LOL! I was the same way. I have a profile on Zoosk but have never paid. I am on other free dating sites, meet lots of scammers, and occasionally a real person.
I went to Zoosk because it was highly rated. So glad I never spent the money on it.
Firstmet.com is totally free-they send flirts like Zoosk-less scammers than most though.
@sassygirl3869 I'll have to check that out... if I don't find the end-all, be-all relationship here. But, hey... what are YOU doing Friday night? LOL
Don't know yet @Duke but I always have been into long hair and wanted to visit Colorado LOL.
I was on Zoosk too-didn't renew after 3 months. Its easy to spot a scammer-they mention god-loving, his goodness, god-fearing and true Christian over and over again.Just what an aetheist wants to hear. LOL
That is way better than holygirl69 (a name I just made up).
That is a good name, for a scammer.
holygirl69... that one might get me to reply.
