What's the most useless phrase you've heard?
I'm voting for "Thoughts and prayers."
It has literally become a pet peeve of mine. I literally translate that to, "Glad it wasn't me."

It's all lies.... This woman was denied shelter in a church as a tornado approached (see link)
Let's all pray to the god that let this happen.

Here's one in response to my being angry about a corporation laying off workers after their tax cuts: "Those actions were planned prior to the tax cuts". I'm thinking, if I won the lottery MY plans would change, seems like theirs could too. Very lame "defense" of grabbing the money and doing whatever you wanted to do anyway.
