I noticed that there are a lot of old people on this site and very few Millennials. There are also older people on facebook and twitter, but they tend to be religious and/or conservative. I was wondering why are the vast majority of atheists and skeptics here are a lot older than me when I expected them to be Millennials or even younger.
Don't try to steotype age groups it is too simplistic to say if you are in this or that age groupbyour opinions are likely tto be.... what ever. I enjoy learning from old and young alike
Whoa... no old people here... some just a tad older... kidding.
Thats a curious question, why would you expect atheist/agnostics/skeptics to be youthful?
On occasion, age brings wisdom, or so we think... we’ve been questioning “things” our whole lives, especially the Bible, Jesus, the whole megellah... years later guys like Hitchens, Dawkins, Harris come along, tell us we were right in not buying into the religion crap.
We were 30/40 years calling religion bullshit... so I guess we were in the “head start program” for athiests, you’re just newbies... don’t worry, you’ll catch up... n get old.
I think us millennials struggle to figure out what makes them different. It's only when you know what to look for you come here. My hypothesis anyway. But I've just got a thing for old people so what do i know...
