While becoming familiar with the site I happened on the chat rooms. Great stuff. Just a thought though, does anyone else hate labels such as introvert, extrovert? Can we describe ourselves as a race without using labels? Maybe if we spoke about labels in a positive manner they would be acceptable. Is it just me or does anyone else think of labels as a negative mode of description? I will have to change my thinking habits
Are you saying Introvert and Extravert are negative descriptive words? How so?
I am saying that unfortunately labels have in general been used by mainstream media and politicians to signify a different group of beings in a negative sense. In that they are not the same as us. Us being the Christian tribe and economic system ie capitalism. Should one not be informed about critical thinking they might just believe what they are being spoon fed. So introvert and extrovert could be considered negative labelling terms depending on the context?
I'm sorry, your response makes absolutely no sense. I'm out.
I am an introvert and I do not like your take on tags, to me being an introvert, an asexual, agnostic etc. is what I am. If you don't want to tag yourself fine but griping about other members is not joining us.
You are absolutely correct. Thank you for your response. It is by putting questions out there that answers will reveal themselves. Thus helping to clarify scenarios. Say it and be proud
While I certainly hate some labels, I don't really see the problem with being identified as an introvert or an extrovert. I think I'm both. Perhaps, you are too.
