Do you believe all religions are the same, or that some are worse than others?
That's a tough question in that it is so broad.
I am assuming you mean by "the same...worse" as in each religion's level of quality manifest in its inherent goodness or badness? Perhaps whether or not it negatively affects its adherents or unbelievers?
If that's the case then I'd say some are worse than others, but never the same.
I think some are worse than others. But all of them are basically the same.
The judeo-christian and Muslim religions all appear to not only be directly related through Abrahamic lineage but also through their sheer number of crazy zealots. The zealots in other religions like Hunduism and Budhism seem top go crazy and introspective. The others go extreme and tote guns and bash people over the head with their views as if they can force people to believe at the barrel of a gun. It is quite pathetic in my opinion.
No, certain religious movements are downright evil.
Hinduism is by far the least offensive. They at least accept others no matter what they believe.
Sure. Because the caste system is not a thing there...
Debatable.
People gravitate toward groups that reflect their level of understanding. My policy is to respect and honor all of them. I don’t honor the organizations but the fellow humans.
I would say there is a range, that religions which adhere to faith and incorrect facts over science are particularly bad, and those which create intolerance even worse. I have a soft spot for Buddhism, which is more like a science of mind, and where the Buddha said of his teachings ehi passiko, come and judge for yourself the truth.
Some are more benign than others.
Christianity and Islam's holy books are pretty disgusting in the way their god tells people to treat each other. A smaller percentage of Christians than Muslims take it as literal it seems. The problem is we're all too scared to criticise Islam due to falsely being accused of racism.
A religion like the Anglicans in the UK: Their most religious event seems to be organising garden party's in the local church grounds.
I think that people should believe whatever it is that makes it easier for them to be a better person. For a given person that one eat choice may be atheism, agnosticism, Muslim, Christian, etc...
How does it matter in their life? Not how it matters in an aggregated or average sense.
