Are there any hunters or fishermen or fisher women in the group?
I hope not.
I would never date anyone who has plenty to eat, yet thinks it great "recreational fun" to go out in nature and kill things.
I give a pass to eastern Kentuckians because most of them store the deer meat of their kills in cold lockers and eat venison all year, literally living off the land.
My brother, in Bethel, Alaska lives off the land as well by catching the human-sized salmon and storing the meat. But I don't date him, so he doesn't count.
Love fishing, even when i catch nothing, and usually catch and release anyway. would love to learn how to use a cast net properly; have tried with varying degrees of success. Too unpracticed a shot for hunting, though used a recurve bow for targets over years-Never confident enough to aim at anything with a heartbeat. Would eat any mamalian meat, however, except of course for the bipeds. 8) Rabbits have finally made it to south east queensland now, and given the opportunity, would shanghai a bunny or two for the pot, anytime.
I hunt, but have only killed varments. Farming laws allow you to kill a coyote that is trying to kill your cattle, or a coon tearing up your corn. I love game meat, but I give permission to people that hunt on my land. They give me it for free. Legally you can't sell it. Fishing... I tried it many times when I was young. I snagged a dead carp once. I don't like to poop outdoors in the heat, wipe my butt on accident with poison ivy, and get bit by misquitos all day! Not fun.
