Crikey! I wasn't expecting that!
Expecting what??
I was expecting the usual narrative, like the caption in your post: the man is the straight, single minded thinker and the woman is the convoluted thinker thing.
@Ellatynemouth Although I don't see it as convoluted, I see it as multiple straight lines and how they interact with each other. I see multiple options and multiple solutions and variable combinations where most people just see a tangled mess. Untangling projects was what I did for much of my career, sometimes untying knots and sometimes cutting them out completely until the project was running smoothly again, it paid very well but you had to be able to see the order in the chaos. My wife decided on what is the right way and then just barrels ahead, I pity those that get in her way, not even skid marks in front of the spot where she ran them right over.
Focused, Logical, Analytical, Straight-forward
Expressive, Pondering, Dreaming, Adventurous
A perfect balance.
@Surfpirate That is rarely recognized or achieved.
@GuyKeith That's what makes it such a glorious condition to be in and if you are clever you can make it pay very handsomely if you have that talent.
@Surfpirate I can relate. I had a wonderful wife. She knew to never push too hard and I knew to appreciate a great thing.
Mine does both. School was definitely a challenge.
High School was a real horror show for me too, transferred to an Independent Study Alternative School and everything sorted itself out. Nonconformists do not do well in the conformist high school system, I would never have gone to university if I had stayed in the regular school system.
