I think I’m well represented by my social media

Not really accurate - I tend to post a pale shadow of my reality, in order to avoid being accused of BS.

My social media presence makes me look like a weirdo with an odd sense of humor and an interest in gaming and science. So pretty spot-on

I definitely do not make things up for social media or try to be something better than I am. But, I don't put my life out there either. To know me better, people would have to actually communicate with me. People use social media for all kinds of reasons, from keeping in touch with people they already know irl (what I do) to profiling/showcasing themselves or their work/hobby or just trying to feel good about themselves and get validation from others, etc.
Part of it is also choosing what you want to see on there. For example, not friending someone or at least unfollowing them so they don't drag you down.

I am a virtual entity here. That's all there is to it. You can dig into my way of thinking, that's as far as this train will go. I have enough reality in my personal life...this is a separate universe and I like it that way. That's what you see from IamNobody.
