Those with a vested interest in the status quo have made it impossible to change things. We should all tear up our constitutions and re-write them as appropriate for our times.
I think death by apathy is as likely as a successful revolution in 1st world countries.

It does seem as this is our only option. But, just as in the Revolutionary War, that "violent" opposition should be led by men and women of sober reasoning, brilliance, and strong disagreements with each other.

Anarchy is here now. Powers that be want to protect this moron so much that they say he cannot appear before Mueller for fear that he will perjure himself. In other words, they know he cannot tell the truth. Now they want him to pardon himself and anybody that Mueller has indicted. Ask yourself if this is possible. As an ex-military contractor who was involved in DoD strategic planning exercises, I was always fascinated with "Jane's" annual evaluation of the world's military strengths.
Last time I was privy to such information (5+ years ago), the civilian population of the United States was evaluated as the 8th best armed army in the world. This included crew served weapons such as heavy machine guns and artillery. Additionally, it was listed as the 17th best armed air force. Think about that when discussing revolution.

I have been thinking that for some time. Yet the highly armed are the supporters of this fascist group. I believe this is very dangerous. Especially if an opposition party doesn't start getting serious about the midterm.
