I used to own an LGBTQ Introduction Service and belong GBBC-Greater Boston Business Council and Rainbow Coalition in Portland, ME. I participated in the Pride Trade Show. Happy Pride Month to all.

As a heterosexual male who considers himself an ally, I have mixed feelings about pride month. On one hand, it's encouraging to see support for the LGBTQ community growing, but at the same time it's depressing that any of our sexual orientation/and sexuality makes in any difference to anyone other than who we sleep with.
