So my sister started a load of laundry and in the middle of the cycle te washer started making a strange buzzing sound. By the time I went downstairs to tell her and we came back upstairs, the washer has smoke coming out of it

So, we made a run to Lowes and bought a new washer. They had it in stock, but theri deliveries are so backed up they plan to deliver it Sunday (It is a Monday today). Still they are doing free delivery, installation and hookup. The only extra charge was $20 to take away the old washer.

So, sometime between now and Sunday, I need toi bail the water out of the old machine. We aren't sure how old it ist, but it may be as old as 30 years old, we know it is more than 20 years old. The machine used to belong to our parents.
