Just in case no-one has reported this, add "owning a car while black" to your #livingwhileblack list. Yep, this grad student was arrested for attempting to open his own car with a key! A fellow white student called the police on him, who wrestled him to the ground, though he was unresisting, and arrested him, despite his protests and proof that he OWNED the car. A judge later threw the the arrest out but unfortunately it now remains on his record.
