Ugh! Drunk stupid man attacks woman. Its like republicanism encapsulated. Really unpopular opinion here. Europeans came here and basically stole the lands from the native peoples, now we want to build walls and leglislate their relatives from coming to their ancestral lands. Big picture leaves white Europeans looking like major assholes.

I agree with you BB. We not only stole the land from the native people we committed the largest, that I am aware of, act of genocide by killing millions of them because they were savages? NO... how about they where defending their homes and families from us assholes!

55,000 illegal Irish in the US, over staying their visa which is the usual way.

What is really scary is that the cop turned and walked away. If that had been a black guy talking to a white woman, would the cop have walked away? The cop showed tactic approval of the guy's yelling by refusing to intervene. Sadly, there are some racist cops out there.

WTF is with the rent a cop?? What a useless tool.

America might need a multi-state solution.

Man in the blue shirt is some sort of fool. Why is what she is wearing causing such a problem with him? What would it matter? Is he drunk? I'm an American citizen and I want to know. Maybe the cops should stop whit people and want to "see their papers."

Definitely drunk.

Hate can be cured with patience and education..

but stupidity has no cure.

Perhaps hate is an incurable mental illness.

@Countrywoman

I hope that's not always the case. I do believe hate, in some instances, is a result of mental illness, which is sad.

It's curable when someone has been indoctrinated, and then given an opportunity to learn the truth about a people, a situation or circumstance.

Religion and politics do this all the time.. Look what's happening in Israel and Palestine. Do you think these people would hate each other if they were born and raised in Chicago?

@Athena Actually I do think they would hate each other. Just as Dr. King faced the bigot hoards in Cicero in the 1960's. It is only exasperated by religion, but people will always find a reason to hate until we evolve enough to eliminate it. If one perceives a slight by another tho it be false, hate will rear its ugly head.

@BradleyOgle1
I have neighbours who are married - parents are Persian on one side, Jewish on the other. I have a client who is Jewish and her husband is German. All were born here in Canada or in Europe.

Children of all different backgrounds go to school together, play together and then grow up to find their colleagues are from places where, in other parts of the world, their religions and politics are in conflict.

I don't believe anyone is born to hate another. We are taught to, which is indoctrination.

The point is not about whether hate exists. Sure, it does and it always will in some form. The point is this man in the video, and that useless cop were fed something along the way, and then those belief systems were reinforced. If they were exposed to a different message from early on, they would feel differently.

Hate can be taught and then new information can change it. I used to hear people say all kinds of crap when I was a child - about people... I could have hated, but I don't.

Because now, I know better.
