Have you ever seen a movie so bad, it was laughable and pure comedy?

Man In The Mirror : The Michael Jackson story
Lmfao I could go on and on about how terrible/laughable that movie was with the MadTv quality and the tacky music played during the concert scenes, plus the hideous makeup used when they tried to make him look white, due to his vitiligo.

"Rubber", though I think perhaps it was SUPPOSED to be so bad that it was hilarious.

Sharknado

Not sure if that one counts, because it wasn't supposed to be serious. Here's an interesting interview with the creator of Sharknado: [vice.com]

Plan 9 From Outer Space..... Considered by some as the worst movie ever made.

I was about to mention the same film! The behind the scenes story is by far the best thing about it. A few clips of Bela Lugosi had been done for another film which was scrapped when he died. They used those clips in this film so they could put his name on the credits, and the rest if the characters scenes were filmed using the director's wife's chiropractor, who looked nothing like Lugosi, so has to cover half his face with his cape ?
I first saw it as a kid in a UK series called 'best of the worst' or something. Another memorable episode introduced me to the fantastic 'The Giant Spider Invasion' starring a fur covered VW with rowing oars for the legs!

@Salo l had read the back story for this movie years ago. Thanks for the reminder. I will see if l can find 'The Giant Spider lnvasion'.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2! Featuring Dennis Hopper, so drugged up he fails to respond to his cues, the other actors pause awkwardly, then say their lines As If he had spoken. (Looooow budget, no retakes)
The climactic scene, where they drape him in assorted-size chainsaws, from 6" total to 4' long, anout 2 dozen of them, and he is supposed to be destroying a tunnel with the chainsaws, but the styrofoam beams keep getting caught in the blade is truly one of the most hilarious i have ever seen!

Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. Seriously. So bad it's good.

Is that a real thing? We need this for next week's movie night!

@cmadler [smile.amazon.com]

Sounds like the Abraham Lincoln vampire killer one...

@Dougl35534 I think this one predates that by a while.

Godzilla? Reefer Madness?

@LetzGetReal nor would I. No interest whatsoever.

@LetzGetReal imho, there is an overwhelmingly excessive amount of attention paid to such matters. Okay, perhaps Michael was an extraordinary talent, but who cares, really, about all the rest of it? I guess people whose lives are otherwise pretty empty.

Irwin Allen's 'The Swarm.'

Arachnoquake.

The never ending story falls into that category. It blows my mind that made a part 2 of such a lame movie.

Oh man! IKR! They should’ve just left it at the first one.

The 2nd one is actually much better (though not by much and at least you don't have to watch that poor horse die in the swamp again)

Everyone took the good ones, but wanted to put “silence” on the list. It’s about persecuted Christians in Edo japan. Lol I had the best time. I seriously think it was a satire and all the white people gave me dirty looks while I was giggling throughout the movie.

The Hills Have Eyes 2.

I have been known to binge-watch bad SyFy channel movies....usually whilst stuck inside during bad weather. The acting is beyond terrible....and the special effects are laughable.

Still, I grew up watching the B movies of the 50s and 60s....so....

I also grew up on the original Dr. Who series.....and the special effects were awful, but, we had a great thing back then called "imagination". LOL

🙂

I would absolutely recommend Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" as maybe the best / worst movie ever. It fails in every possible way. Imagine a bad porno movie without the porn. To save face they even tried to market it as a "quirky black comedy". A movie so bad that it inspired a movie about how bad it was. "The Disaster Artist".

1

Reefer Madness. And you really need to be stoned to watch it, LOL

Some older horror movies don't hold up well and become more comical than scary when viewed again decades later. Phantasm was one, for me.

Yes, Deedpool 2.

How about this reality.

0

The Room (the original) is supposed to be the epitome of that. I have yet to see it but saw the Disaster Artist recently and can tell from that just how bad the original may be.

0

The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra

0

The original Little Shop of Horrors. The Jack Nicholson bit at dentist was a hoot.

0

Most of the stuff made in the 70's-80's

0

Fright night. I think it was supposed to be scary but it was so bad that it was funny.

0

Exorcist. I never understood why anyone was scared of the movie. I laughed out loud more than once

Lmfao you and me both! I laughed so damn much.

The animal..
Actually really funny.
